I have been a lawyer for almost four decades and found myself in the unenviable position of being charged with a criminal offence over a small misunderstanding regarding an AVO. I’ve briefed many lawyers over the years and was genuinely relieved at how competent, professional, honest and understanding Michael Gleeson is.

A particular skill Micheal also showed was that he understood the nuances and context of the matter thoroughly and quickly. He was able to artfully de-escalate the situation with the police and therefore the court. This helped achieve a perfect result.

He also stuck to his word about fees and was more interested in serving me his client than seeking more unjustified money, as many lawyers do. Frankly, and sadly, this is rare in a lawyer.
